A meeting for individuals who invested their money with Financial Horizons Inc. and its subsidiary will be held next week at the New Life Ministries church in Schenectady.
Financial Horizons and its subsidiary, FHI Asset Management Co. Inc., collected $2.6 million in personal invesments from more than 100 Capital District residents and, last week, filed for U.S. Bankruptcy Court protection from these investors and nearly 200 other creditors.
The request for protection under Chapter 11 of the Federal Bankruptcy Act was filed by Troy attorney Thomas Dussault on behalf of company President John C. Becker IV. …
