Three and a half hours of comments and questions from a crowd that packed Town Hall Tuesday night left the Town Board with enough doubts to table a measure that would lower the density of residential lots in substantial portions of town.
"A lot of polishing should be done before we go ahead with it," Councilman Richard Murray said after a hearing attended by about 150 residents who were equally divided among those for, against and confused by the proposed action.
"Let's make sure what we're rezoning is what we want to rezone."
